Around 700 members and guests of the Victorian Transport Association (VTA) celebrated the achievements of award winners and nominees at the prestigious Australian Freight Industry Awards (AFIA) gala presentation dinner in Melbourne on September 5.
VTA President Mr Peter Anderson introduced the winners who were presented with their award by The Victorian Minister for Roads, Road Safety and Ports, Mr Luke Donnellan.
Mr Anderson was pleased to inform the audience that all nominations were exceptional.
There were five categories of awards. Mr Anderson was pleased to announce that FBT Transwest had won the award for “Best Practice Safety”.
Managing Director Mr Cameron Dunn, accepted the award on behalf of FBT Transwest.
